To whom this may concern:
It is truly a pleasure to write this
letter supporting Patricia Smith. I
feel I can offer an accurate and insightful evaluation of her
potential in
her future studies.
Since first meeting Ms. Smith at the
end of 1998, I have found her to be an
earnest and caring person. In her personal life I was impressed
in how she
has managed cleverly to find a way to be a full time mother to
her three
children and yet still work , as well as attend school. Many women
are and
have been crushed by far lesser tasks. Throughout this multiplicity
of
arduous tasks, she has shown an abundant energy in her ability
to keep an in
depth running correspondence with me, akin to the relationship
of Wilhelm
Fleiss and Sigmund Freud (although I would hope ours has a more
successful
outcome.)
In her psychology, I have found Ms. Smith
to be a most clever theorist. She
is keen to recognize the value in the most disparate of psychological
postulates. She offers both her great enthusiasm as well as her
emotional
zest to her studies, yet she remains well grounded in pragmatism
and
practicality. I look forward to utilize her wealth of knowledge
by welcoming

As for her academic achievements, I have
found Ms. Smith's work noteworthy,
despite her own tendency to downplay them in important, - she
sets a very
high standard for herself. Ms Smith is distressed by grades that
most
students would be thankful for. You see, to Ms. Smith, anything
less than a
high A is tantamount to failure.
